Dupper & Bernhold of Esslingen - Dish - Silverplated - Art nouveau silver plate

Elegant silver-plated serving bowl / centrepiece dish, probably German Jugendstil / early Art Nouveau, made by Dupper & Bernhold of Esslingen. The Esslingen City Museum confirms that the firm's objects were stamped DBE and that they specialised in good-quality silver-plated table and decorative ware. Their core metal was often brass, which was then silver plated.
