A rare, large Dutch Delft rectangular shaped serving dish, Van Duyn factory, c. 1765. The deep dish, painted in blue, with a European scene of a farmer stood behind a deer, with farm buildings in the background, within a scroll shaped panel. The moulded border, painted with panels containing flowering plants, beneath a shell and ‘C’ scroll moulded rim.
