E. Bucherer – Brutalist Secret Watch – Hidden Dial – 17 Jewels Incabloc – Swiss Made – 1980s Condition: Very rare and sought-after collectible in excellent preservation. The watch is in an unusually beautiful original condition and has not been refinished. The integrated bracelet has a total length of approx. 17.5 cm, measured without the protruding clasp. Provenance: From a collector Important information: All watches are offered without a minimum price. Before sale they are fully wound and tested for function. A guarantee of accurate timekeeping, stable operation, or water resistance cannot be provided. Notes: Technically, the watch has been tested and functions flawlessly. All photos are unedited and taken with a macro lens to present the actual condition as honestly and in as much detail as possible. The images are part of the description. Description: Exceptional E. Bucherer Secret Watch from Switzerland, probably from the 1970s. This rare model combines traditional Swiss watchmaking with a bold, jewelry-oriented Brutalist/Modernist design. The special feature is the watch fully integrated into the gold-colored link bracelet. The geometrically constructed, differently arranged elements and their textured surface give the bracelet a striking sculptural character. A flip-open cover continues the design over the dial and completely hides it in the closed state. Only when opened does the actual watch become visible – a classic Secret-Watch/Hidden-Dial construction. The gold-colored dial bears applied hour markers and the signatures “E. Bucherer”, “17 Jewels”, “Incabloc” and “Swiss Made”. Inside runs a mechanical Swiss hand-wound movement with 17 jewels and Incabloc shock protection. Case width: approx. 20 mm without crown Bracelet length: approx. 17.5 cm, without the protruding clasp Conclusion: An extraordinary vintage jewelry watch by E. Bucherer that fuses Secret-Watch design, sculptural 1970s aesthetics, and classic Swiss mechanics. Of particular note is the flip-open Hidden-Dial construction and the elaborately designed integrated bracelet, which give this model high recognizability and make it an interesting piece for collectors of vintage watches and exceptional jewelry design.
