"The Black Piano" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work features a grand piano as the absolute protagonist of a bright interior. Its large, black, rounded volume occupies the center of the composition, accompanied by an opened sheet music, while a wide window in the background introduces the sky and a distant landscape line. The composition is built from the strong contrast between the piano's dark, glossy surface and the turquoise, light blue, and white tones that dominate the room. On both sides, large plants frame the instrument and bring organic movement, while a peachy-pink sofa introduces a warm, decorative counterpoint. The brushwork is direct and visible, with simplified shapes and blue, green, and ochre reflections that model the instrument’s black. The grid-like window provides geometric order and depth, balancing the curves of the piano and the vegetation. The expressive use of color and the relationship between objects, nature, and interior show echoes of Fauvism and the modern Henri Matisse tradition. The absence of a human figure reinforces the sense of pause: the sheet music remains open as if the music had just stopped or was about to begin. "The Black Piano" thus turns a daily interior into a serene, elegant, and luminous scene. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and send it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days."} } } }
