E. García - La siesta XL

LA SIESTA is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This painting is a scene of stillness and contemplation that celebrates the beauty of moments of rest. The protagonist appears immersed in light slumber or deep contemplation, gently resting her head on her arm as time seems to stand still around her. The atmosphere conveys calm, intimacy, and a deeply human sense of serenity. The composition is built from a delicate chromatic balance. The soft greens of the floral dress contrast with the violet background, creating an elegant and enveloping visual harmony. The lemons on the table introduce flashes of light and color that animate the scene, while the vase and decorative motifs add a domestic and refined air. Inspired by the tradition of intimate interiors and the decorative sensibility of modern art, the work uses simplified shapes and expressive colors to convey an emotion rather than a literal description. The floral dress seems to merge with the surroundings, reinforcing the sense of repose and connection with the space that surrounds it. “La siesta” is an evocation of the silent moments that often go unnoticed: a quiet afternoon, the soft light of a room, and the pleasure of letting oneself rest for a moment. A work full of delicacy and poetry that invites contemplation of calm as a form of beauty. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E.
