"The Two Red Armchairs" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work depicts a serene interior organized around two red armchairs facing a large glass door opened to the exterior. The architecture functions as the central axis of the composition: the green frame outlines a bright landscape of yellow and golden vegetation, establishing a direct dialogue between the room's intimacy and nature. The intense blue of the walls creates an enveloping background on which the reds and oranges of the armchairs stand out. Greens, yellows, and small turquoise accents complete a palette of strong chromatic contrasts. Exterior light passes through the door and projects onto the wooden floor through broad yellow areas, reinforcing depth and guiding the eye toward the garden. The brushwork is loose and visible, with a deliberate simplification of furniture, architecture, and landscape. The expressive use of color, the large color planes, and the emphasis given to the domestic interior show echoes of Fauvism and of Henri Matisse, especially in the relationship between space, window, and nature. The two empty armchairs also introduce a sense of anticipation and quiet, as if the scene preserved the recent presence of their occupants. "The Two Red Armchairs" transforms a mundane domestic corner into a luminous and contemplative composition, built through color and openness to the exterior. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipment. After payment is confirmed, a three-day lead time is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.
