Their elongated, geometric faces, built from a contemporary Cubist language, convey a sense of stillness and contemplation. The guitar serves as the central axis and symbolic link between the two characters. The composition is organized around large vertical planes that provide stability, while the instrument introduces an ascending line that guides the gaze toward the faces. In the upper area, the circular form resembling a moon reinforces the intimate and almost ceremonial character of the scene. The palette blends turquoises and blues with oranges, pinks, yellows, and deep browns. The visible brushstrokes add texture and warmth to the geometric shapes. More than representing two specific people, Presencias evokes the memory of a meeting: figures that remain suspended between music, silence, and the passage of time.
