Early 20th C. Navajo Turquoise Nugget & Coral Bead Necklace

Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo (DIne). A necklace of turquoise nuggets strung on thread with short tubular coral beads. The nuggets keep their natural tumbled shapes and are lightly polished, leaving the brown and golden-white matrix veining visible. The turquoise ranges from robin egg blue to seafoam green, and the orange-red coral beads are spaced between the stones. The strand graduates toward the front, where the largest nuggets are placed. Each end has a conical sterling silver terminal, and the necklace fastens with a hook clasp. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids. Item # 206075
