Auction description Small medieval bronze seal matrix with a zoomorphic motif – 13th–14th centuries Small-form seal matrix made in a copper/bronze alloy. It features an oval field bounded by a perimetral line and a central hollow-engraved decoration, intended to appear in relief when stamped onto wax. The reverse preserves the start of the securing element or handle. The modern impression allows viewing a heraldic zoomorphic composition, currently partially lost due to wear and corrosion. Proposed chronology: 13th–14th centuries CE. Material: bronze / copper alloy. Measurements: 21 × 16 × 12 mm. Condition: archaeological provenance, with dark green patina and wear to the motif.
