École du Cusco (XX) - Diospa Maman Sumaq Urpi

- Oil and gold pigments on canvas. Marouflage on board. Hand-signed by the local Cusco artist Víctor Navarro. - The true conquest of the Andean heart was not achieved under the threat of arquebuses nor before the moving drama of a bleeding Christ on the cross, but in the gentleness of this mixed-border canvas, where faith found a shelter of tenderness and refuge. In the narrowed, sweet gaze of the Virgin, wrapped in mantles embroidered with flowers and golden radiance, the inhabitants of the mountains discovered a maternal love that did not impose or punish, but welcomed everyone with kindness alike. It was the warmth of this Mother that dissolved the borders of violence to unite the believers in a shared fragility, revealing that before the piety of her countenance there are no winners or losers, only sinners sheltered by the same grace. - Image dimensions without frame: 45 x 62 cm / 55 x 72 cm with exclusive custom frame. At Montbaron Gallery, we are pleased to offer our clients an exclusive selection of artworks, all of them unique, original, and unrepeatable. Each piece in our gallery is the result of deep dedication, creative vision, and masterful technique, characteristics that guarantee its authenticity. The works we sell are not industrial reproductions; they are pieces created individually by recognized artists, each with its own story and essence. Originality is the foundation of our commitment to excellence and, therefore, every painting or sculpture that forms part of our collection is carefully selected to ensure its singularity. Acquiring a work from Montbaron Gallery means owning an unrepeatable piece, an investment in creativity and talent that, over time, will retain both artistic and emotional value. We are proud to offer works that not only beautify spaces but also connect our clients with the richness of human expression through the most authentic art. Thus, we guarantee that every piece that leaves our gallery is a unique piece in the world, with no replicas, and a testament to the innovation and passion of the artists we work with. Certain lots, due to their age and value, require an export permit issued by the Ministry of Culture. Although this is an administrative procedure, it is essential to ensure the authenticity of the artwork and its free circulation internationally. Montbaron Gallery is committed to offering its clients original, unique, and unrepeatable artworks, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of every piece in our collection. To ensure transparency and trust in every purchase, we offer a digital Certificate of Guarantee, signed by a certified art historian. This certificate certifies that the acquired work has been authenticated by our specialists, who verify its authorship, origin, and condition. The Certificate of Guarantee includes full details about the piece, such as author, date of creation, technique used, and dimensions. The digital Certificate of Guarantee will be issued upon the client's request, providing an official reference for the acquired piece. This document will be sent in digital format and will be signed by an art historian from our gallery, ensuring its validity and backing. We are committed to the satisfaction and trust of our clients, so any questions about the authenticity or condition of the work will be addressed professionally and diligently. To request your Certificate of Guarantee, please contact us through our usual channels. As experts in art logistics, at Montbaron Gallery we are committed to ensuring that each piece arrives at its destination safely and in the best possible condition. To this end, we work with a network of specialists in art transport who guarantee maximum care throughout the process. It is important to note that the shipping cost prices indicated in the listing are indicative and subject to change depending on various circumstances. These include fluctuations in transport market rates, changes in delivery location, the size and weight of the work, and possible extraordinary circumstances, such as fuel cost fluctuations or adjustments in customs and import tariffs. The final shipping cost will be calculated precisely based on these factors, and the client will always be informed in advance before proceeding with shipment. Our goal is to offer the best possible service, adapting to each client’s needs and ensuring the artwork reaches its destination quickly and safely, with no surprises. The frame shown in the previous images has been added to the artwork by a third party or by the seller, and thus is not an integral part of the object. This frame is provided at no additional cost so that, when the work arrives at the customer’s home, it can be exhibited immediately on their wall. Consequently, no damages to the frame that do not affect the integrity of the work will be accepted as grounds for a claim or cancellation.
