A large bronze sculpture depicting the 'Little Dancer Aged Fourteen' (in French: La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans). A famous art deco style art piece showing a standing ballerina wearing her tutu, made after the great work of the French sculptor Edgar Degas (1834-1917). The original can be seen in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's in New York. This art statue is crafted from high-quality bronze that is partially painted in soft pastel colours, which brings it beautifully to life. And it is mounted on a marble base. Dimensions: 38 x 18 x 13 cm. Weight: 5.5 kg. Condition: excellent (see images). It is signed and also bears a foundry stamp. An eye-catching collectable that will appeal to art lovers!
