Edwardian 0.40ct Ruby and Diamond Three Stone Twist Ring, c.1910s

Edwardian 0.40ct Ruby and Diamond Three Stone Twist Ring, c.1910s

This charming Edwardian twist ring features a 0.40 carat, oval cut ruby at it’s centre, highlighted by two flanking diamonds. The diamonds are eight cut stones, weighing 0.05 carat a piece and match in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. Each gem has been set into platinum, with elegantly patterned shoulders of the same metal surrounding them. A contrasting band of 18 carat yellow gold finished the ring perfectly.
