Edwardian 0.50ct Opal and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1910s

A beautiful 0.50 carat opal sits central in this Edwardian cluster ring. Rub over set into platinum, the opal is surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds. Totalling 0.80 carat the diamond range in colour from H to I and match in clarity at SI. The cluster is sat upon a contrasting basket and band of 18 carat yellow gold, in the classic dual metal style of the 1910s.
