Egbert Van Heemskerck the Elder (1610-1680) - Elderly Scholar Reading

Attributed to Egbert van Heemskerck the Elder (Dutch, 1610-1680), this 17th-century oil on canvas depicts an elderly scholar or monk quietly reading from a large open book.
