EGYPTIAN GOLD FAIENCE, GLASS AND CARNELIAN BEAD NECKLACE

Late Period, ca. 664 - 332 BC. A restrung necklace composed of graduated beads, the lower section alternating blue glass and carnelian beads. The upper section is formed from pale faience disc beads interspersed with darker spacers. Size: 220mm x 15mm; Weight: 27g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s–2000.
