EGYPTIAN STEATITE SCARAB WITH CONCENTRIC CIRCLES IN SWIVEL GOLD RING

Middle Kingdom, ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. > A steatite scarab with a convex back, the legs carved along the sides. The flat underside is engraved with six concentric ring-and-dot motifs arranged symmetrically around a central device, enclosed by an oval border.
