ew Kingdom, ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A pale steatite scarab with a convex back and schematically rendered head. The flat underside is engraved with hieroglyphic signs. Set in a hallmarked 18K gold pendant mount, the scarab is enclosed by an oval frame with a knop terminal below and a circular suspension ring above.
