Japanese theatrical poster for *Thirteen Assassins* 十三人の刺客, *Jūsannin no Shikaku* the 1963 samurai film directed by Eiichi Kudō, starring Chiezō Kataoka, Kōtarō Satomi and Tetsurō Tanba. The striking design combines black and white portraits and action scenes with large red Japanese calligraphy. EDITION Believed to be a vintage theatrical re-release poster, probably from the 1980s. The Japanese promotional text announces the film’s return to cinemas. The exact printing year is unconfirmed; it is not offered as a verified 1963 first-release poster. LOT CONTENTS One Japanese B2 film poster, unframed and without linen backing. CONDITION / DAMAGE Previously folded, with visible horizontal and vertical fold lines and light wear along the folds. Scattered age-related spots, surface marks, minor edge wear and small edge nicks are visible. Dark and purple marks appear on the front, including near the upper edge and right-hand promotional text. Additional coloured marks and light staining are visible on the reverse. The red lettering remains vivid, and the main photographic imagery is well preserved.
