Elegant Art Deco Bar Brooch With Mabe Pearl & Diamonds, c. 1930

Hardly any jewellery wardrobe of the 1920s would have been complete without the bar brooch. We encounter them in countless variations. With coloured gemstones and diamonds for the evening, golden and plain for the day, or enameled and set with pearls - the piece of jewellery characterized by its strongly elongated shape shows a surprisingly great versatility. The bar brooch here features the classic combination of diamonds and pearls. One cream-coloured mabe pearl (see.: "Learn more") with a soft luster adorns the center of the almond-shaped centerpiece. White, glittering diamond roses cover the entire platinum-embellished surface. In between, milgrains and finely sawn shadow gaps add further focal points. The clean shape and geometric details are in keeping with the contemporary Art Deco taste. Whether on the top button of elegant blouses or white shirts, on a scarf or tie, as an accent on a lapel or coat - a bar brooch like this one offers almost endless possibilities for use.
