Elegant Gentlemen's Dress Set in White Gold, Onyx & Pearls From Harrods

This gentlemen's dress set comes from the famous Harrods department store in London and, according to its hallmark, was created in 1984. Light white gold and shimmering onyx inlays have been combined to create buttons that could hardly adorn the shirt of an evening suit in a more simple, beautiful and elegant way. Four vest buttons with the two matching collar or tuxedo buttons and the four shirt buttons are developed from the shape of the circle and each present a shimmering pearl in the center on an inlay of deep black onyx. Fine grooves, somewhat reminiscent of vinyl records, structure the wide white gold frames. The shapes of the set appear restrained, and yet the lustre of the pearls shimmers here and there when worn. This exceptionally beautiful set impresses with its first-class workmanship and harmonious combination of materials. The simplicity of the surfaces appears classic without being obtrusive. It has been very well preserved in its original case.
