Jewellery of the 1960s and 1970s is characterized by optimism and belief in progress. Rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings - the colour of the time was again white, like the stars, often combined with blue, like the sky of the night. The clasp of this long pearl necklace is the best example of this, as it is shaped like an auspicious, optimistic four leaf clover. Four sapphires adorn each leaf, bringing together the beloved colours of the 1960s. The 88 cultured saltwater pearls shimmer with a creamy luster and augur good fortune themselves, being its emblem in Japan - the birthplace of the cultured pearl. The pearls fall softly in the décolleté and their growth marks identify them as natural products. With a length of 70.0 cm, this is an opera-length pearl necklace that can accompany you for elegant evening events - or during the day, as Coco Chanel showed us. We have had the beautiful pearl necklace re-strung and knotted, so nothing will stand in the way of your happiness!
