Bracelets were a great favourite of the Art Deco era. “There has never been a time when bracelets were as popular as they are today. It seems as if every girl and every woman wears a bracelet, and many ladies with good taste wear two or even more in attractive combinations,” states an American catalog from around 1925. This bracelet brings to life the cool, geometric design language of those years—a style that remains captivating at first glance to this day. In the center, the band widens into a narrow showpiece featuring elegant carré settings. Set at its center are 13 old-cut diamonds, which together weigh approximately 2.2 ct and delight with their consistently beautiful quality and good white colour. Delicate milgrains frame the settings on the outside, and a simple link bracelet makes it wearable. This well-preserved piece of jewellery, dating from around 1925, found its way to us here in Berlin.
