Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Elena Rigano and with the Gallery's stamp. Title: The Slow Rhythm of Silence Dimensions: 70 x 70 cm Year: 2025 Elena Rigano is a contemporary artist whose painting practice focuses on depicting suspended moments in everyday life. Through careful and measured figurative work, she investigates the intimate dimension of existence, transforming ordinary gestures into images charged with emotional tension and silence. Her research develops from a dialogue between tradition and modernity: on one hand the influence of the great masters of painting in the construction of light and composition; on the other, a strongly cinematic visual sensibility capable of evoking suspended atmospheres and implicit narratives. Her figures, often portrayed with their backs turned or absorbed in thought, inhabit essential spaces where time seems to slow down, allowing subtle and universal inner states to emerge. Rigano's work stands out for a calibrated use of light, which becomes a central narrative element, and for an intense yet controlled color palette, where contrasts help define the visual rhythm of the piece. Each painting is configured as an autonomous scene, yet at the same time part of a broader inquiry into the theme of wait, distance, and the perception of time. In recent years, her work has attracted the attention of private collectors and exhibition realities interested in new figurative contemporary art, consolidating a recognizable and coherent poetic. NB: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
