Ella Suárez - Flor abierta - XL (no reserve)

Open Flower from the series Floral System Unique work In Floral System, Ella Suárez approaches the flower as a complex, ever-expanding structure. Far from a descriptive representation, the series proposes an approach where the floral form unfolds as a field of study: a system of relationships between center, periphery, rhythm, and growth. The works are built from a close-up view that amplifies scale and transforms perception. Petals, openings, and internal cores expand to fill the plane, generating compositions where the flower ceases to be a recognizable object and becomes an organic architecture. The concept of an expanded flower runs through the series as a way of thinking about nature from its interior. The forms unfold, fold, and overlap, revealing dynamics of tension and balance that refer to processes of development, transformation, and deployment. Color acts as structure and energy. The ranges organize into transitions that build depth and vibration, articulating a space where each plane responds to an internal logic. The relationship between light, matter, and form generates an intense, almost tactile presence, placing the viewer in a close, proximity-driven experience. In Floral System, the flower is understood as a system and as a process: a living form that is not represented but built and transformed in the painting.
