Eloise Harriet Stannard (British, 1829-1915) Still life of grapes

signed and dated 'E H Stannard 1865' l.r., oil on canvas painted oval, 25 x 32cm; framed 47 x 55cm, Condition Report, Condition Report, Relined. Light stretcher marks to upper edge. Fine craquelure. There is a light scratch across the bottom of the grapes. Examined under UV light retouching shows to the lower edge. There are some further small specks of overpainting and strengthening in places, including to the grapes, however in our opinion this is well matched and not obvious when the work is viewed on the wall under normal lighting conditions. Please see additional condition images. Request A Condition Report, Request A Condition Report
