RARO Official World Championships Poster Valmalenco 1985 – Vintage ICON FISI / FIS – Unique Collectible! Relive the Magic of Great Skiing If you are a winter sports enthusiast, a collector of vintage posters, or a lover of 1980s design, this poster represents a rare and unmissable opportunity. Produced in 1985 by official commission of FISI (Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali) and FIS, this commemorative poster was created for the legendary Alpine Ski World Championships of Valtellina '85 (Bormio and Santa Caterina Valfurva, January 30 – February 10, 1985). The work depicts a skier in full descent, wrapped in a dynamic explosion of vivid colors, from the fiery red of passion to the snow and ice gradient. The graphics perfectly embody the illustration style of the era, where the athlete’s power and the precision of the technical gesture merge into an image with a strong visual impact. In the upper right corner stands the distinctive World Championships 85 logo, flanked by the official FIS and FISI marks. The 1985 World Championships in Valtellina remain etched in the history of international alpine skiing as one of the most iconic and exciting editions of the 20th century.
