The edge is entirely finished with rich intaglio embroidery, creating a wonderful interplay of positive and negative space, finely enhanced by delicate floral motifs. The inner stems and buds are executed with raised embroidery in satin stitch and French knots, giving the piece a splendid three-dimensional look. The flowers decorating the rich border feature touches of color in pastel tones, making the piece unique and of great visual rarity. Size: 40x112 cm.
