Splendid and refined antique rectangular tablecloth in pure high-quality linen, authentic mid-20th century vintage, expression of the value of handmade craftsmanship of yesteryear. The piece stands out for a complex and exceptionally rich workmanship: Cutwork (Richelieu) for a dense network of perforations and embroidered bars that create geometric and floral motifs across the surface; Solid stitch and steam stitch for the delicate padded berries that give dimensionality and softness to the decorations; Geometric finishings to frame the central field and the edges. Rosettes worked in cutwork and lattice details surrounded by floral garlands decorate abundantly both the fringe and the side drops. Excellent vintage condition, the item has never been used and is free of tears or restorations. Size cm 160x220, complete with its 8 napkins.
