Émile Gallé (1846-1904) - after - Vase - Glass - Tulips & Butterfly Decor

A beautiful cameo glass vase decorated with tulips, foliage and a butterfly in relief. The vase is made in the Art Nouveau style, after the work of the renowned French artist Émile Gallé (1846–1904). The warm yellow ground creates a beautiful contrast with the floral decoration in shades of olive green and brown. Dimensions: 38 x 20 cm. Weight: 2.3 kg. Condition: excellent (see images). It is signed 'Gallé' on the side of the vase and marked 'Gallé type' underneath. A highly decorative and colourful piece of cameo glass!
