Emma Beatrice Pierotti - MeMé - Burnt

Opera produced in 2026, by the artist Emma Beatrice Pierotti born in 1990, Italy, known as MEMÉ. Emerging self-taught artist, she has participated in countless national and international shows with participation certificates and awards such as Artist of the Year and featured in art catalogs such as Art Effect of the years 2024 and 2025, e.g. Brussels, London, Miami, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Venice, Rome, with frequent collaboration with the University of Fine Arts of Istanbul, ARDAHAN ÜNİVERSİTESİ GÜZEL SANATLAR FAKÜLTESİ FACULTY OF FINE ARTS. Recently selected for the award “Consolidated Artists ‘27 Museum Visions” by EffettoArte. This work in acrylic and oil pastels is created on canvas with mixed media, measuring 139x210 cm (the measurements refer to the full canvas without the frame; consider the cm used for the framework). All my paintings have a final protective varnish layer. *The canvas may appear creased; this does not compromise the quality and suitability of the work, and when the canvas is stretched the creases will disappear. Burnt is a contemporary painting, reflecting social burnout, the seated power and the apparent control of a system that collapses between ignorance and poverty. My paintings speak of beauty dashed aside and the race for glory, of inner pettiness and numbers digitized to the stars. Change starts from the small and from the intimate in each of us. The canvas is signed on the painting and on the back with ink. The work is cataloged and entered in the International Archive of Modern Art; certificates of authenticity and archival documentation will be delivered together with the work in paper format. The certificate of ownership is available on request in PDF format. Shipping is done with the canvas rolled in an appropriate tube; large packages, such as those of 200 cm, may require one or two additional days for delivery. *Photos of the works may slightly vary in color depending on the device used to view the painting. In close-up detail photos the color is most faithful; in some images the color may reflect natural daylight or evening artificial light, a normal variation depending on the time of day. In the illustrative images I use a specific program for artists to simulate the framed work in a common environment. This listing contains representations generated by artificial intelligence. Please refer to the original photographs to verify the actual conditions of the object.
