The title of the bronze is Bohemienne (Gypsy Woman). The bronze has an old foundry mark: "BL Vrai Bronze Garanti Paris " The artist who created this statue was Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914) - French sculptor. Villanis was born in France to Italian parents. He began training in 1871 at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin. Very fine detailed work - the lady is of incredible beauty - this was perfectly realized by the artist. From every angle new details reveal themselves.
