English School, circa 1810. A Regency period portrait of two young ladies, pencil and coloured washes, 13 x 14.5cm, remounted in the original gilt frame, 28 x 29cm. This charming portrait is in good condition. There is sign that it may previously have been housed in a smaller frame, with slight paper discolouration 1cm in from the current mount. There are two marks of possible foxing located above the heads of the ladies and the glass would require a dust, but no other imperfections evident and it hangs and sits well on the wall.

Estimate:£100
