Escuela Expresionista Europea (XX) - Nature Morte

Title: Nature Morte ㅤ School: European Expressionist School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Figurative Expressionism with post-impressionist influences. ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas, worked with material brushstrokes and impasto applications. ㅤ Condition: Generally good state of preservation, with slight signs of age and wear on the frame. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: ㅤ Work stylistically linked to European expressionist currents of the mid-20th century, especially to the tradition of the modern still life. Its vigorous treatment of pictorial matter and chromatic freedom recall the approaches of Maurice de Vlaminck and Chaïm Soutine, as well as certain floral interpretations of post-impressionism. ㅤ The composition features an exuberant floral still life, with abundant white flowers and warm tones, arranged around a rounded container. The vegetation is constructed through dense, overlapping brushstrokes, combining creamy whites, bluish greens, ochres and reddish accents that give dynamism to the scene. ㅤ The use of impasto stands out, with a richly textured surface where the paint takes center stage. The greenish-gray background contrasts with the luminosity of the flowers, creating an intimate and expressive atmosphere. ㅤ The work bears a signature in the lower left corner. ㅤ It comes with a wooden frame with a golden finish and brown tones, decorated with stepped moldings and a light inner profile. It shows small wear and signs of aging. ㅤ Observations: ㅤ The work may incur damage during transport despite proper packaging. In such a case, we will need photographs of the defects to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by surcharges due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not be responsible for these surcharges. ㅤ The courier that must cross the Swiss border can be much slower than usual, so, if possible, to speed up processing we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the customer can unlock it and have it reach its destination. Our experience has shown that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, the order may be delayed by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Dimensions: 47 × 40 cm ㅤ Dimensions with frame: 58 × 49 cm
