Escuela Fauvista (XX) - Bosque Rosa

Title: Pink Forest ㅤ School: European Fauvist School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Fauvism ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ Condition: Good overall state of conservation, with signs of age and use appropriate to its era. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is inscribed within the European Fauvist landscape tradition of the 20th century, with influences derived from the chromatic liberation driven by Henri Matisse, André Derain and Maurice de Vlaminck. Spontaneous brushwork, the expressive use of greens, yellows, blues and violets, and the simplification of natural forms show an interpretation of the landscape that is distant from strictly academic representation, prioritizing chromatic perception and pictorial expressivity. ㅤ Rural landscape built with a loose, visible, and energetic brushstroke. In the foreground, a wide expanse of vegetation unfolds, resolved through different green, yellow, and grayish tones, while in the middle zone a bluish strip of water introduces depth to the composition. In the background, masses of trees in different colors define the horizon, especially highlighting the large tree on the left. ㅤ The composition presents a free interpretation of nature, where color takes a predominant role over descriptive detail. Chromatic contrasts and tonal variations bring dynamism to the landscape, while the sky, worked with light blues and soft pinkish hues, visually balances the intensity of the vegetation. ㅤ The work is presented framed with a frame of straight, sober lines, finished in a dark tone with a fine exterior gold profile. Its design creates an elegant contrast with the painting’s luminous colors and reinforces its decorative character. ㅤ Observations: The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packing. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge. ㅤ The courier that must pass through the Swiss border may be delayed much more than normal, so, if possible, to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can unlock it and thus have it reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, orders may be delayed more than three days, so we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Dimensions: 28 × 23 cm Dimensions with frame: 32 × 36 cm
