A0000004355 The fountain pen is presented in excellent overall condition, showing a level of preservation very close to that of a barely used piece. The body in marbled acrylic resin maintains a deep, even shine, with the veins perfectly defined and without discolorations. No cracks, chips, or deformations are apparent, only minimal micro-scratches from handling visible under very close observation and direct light, typical of occasional use or storage. The metal fittings with a gold finish — clip and rings — retain their original tone, with a very good aesthetic appearance and without significant wear of the plating. Very slight surface marks coherent with light use can be seen, without in any way affecting its presence or functionality. The steel nib is gold-plated and is in excellent condition, clean, well aligned, and without deformities. The feed presents a correct appearance, ensuring an adequate ink flow. The piece has been inspected and tested, ensuring optimal operation and a satisfactory writing experience from the first use. The cartridge/converter filling system works correctly, including its converter, ready for immediate use. The pen is accompanied by its original Bestie collection presentation case, with a thematic design. The box shows visible signs of exterior wear (scuffs and color loss in some areas) due to storage, although it maintains structural integrity and protective function. Overall, this is a very well-preserved specimen, fully functional and ready for writing, ideal for both daily use and collection within this modern Esterbrook line. Conservation recommendations To preserve the piece in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific to fountain pens, avoid pigmented or highly loaded inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storage, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the filling system gently at all times. Happy bidding!
