Eugène Eechaut (1928-2019) - Pareja de tintas

Elegant pair of original works on paper by Eugène Eechaut (1928–2019), Belgian painter and draftsman of French origin, renowned for a creative universe situated between poetic abstraction, stylized figuration, and surrealism. Created with only a few weeks’ difference — January 16 and February 22, 1971 — both compositions develop the same visual language: architectural and organic structures that seem to rise above atmospheric backgrounds, combining black masses, delicate linear textures, and an extraordinary sense of movement. Their identical format and modern, coordinating framing make the two works an especially harmonious and decorative set. The natural light-colored wood frames and wide black mats enhance the contrast of the inks and give them a contemporary presence, ideal for displaying them together as a diptych. • Two original and unique works, not reproductions. • Technique: ink on paper. • Dating: January 16 and February 22, 1971. • Dimensions: 42 × 32 cm each, including the frame. • Signed with the artist’s and gallery’s seals on the reverse. • Identical modern framing in light natural wood and black matting. • Excellent conservation status: healthy paper, stable ink and no notable alterations. • Ready to hang. They are sold exclusively as a pair, thus preserving their full visual impact and value as a diptych. FREE SHIPPING within Spain via InPost, to the nearest available Punto Pack. The artworks will be carefully packaged and protected for shipment. The frames are considered a gift, so no claims for possible damages to them will be accepted.
