This Geographic Map is an original copperplate engraving from circa 1798/1801. This is the edition by ROBERT WILKINSON, based on Historical and Ancient Geography, published around 1798/1801 in his work entitled: "Wilkinson's Atlas Classica: being a collection of maps of the countries mentioned by the ancient authors, both sacred and profane, with their various subdivisions LONDON, 1798 / 1801 ca." Beautiful map, published in London, with excellent coloring, wide margins, and geographically and historically well detailed in every point. Condition: the condition is quite good as shown in the photos. The overall dimensions of the map are: 35 cm x 28 cm.
