The map measures 36 cm by 26 cm. It is in good condition considering that it is two centuries old. The reverse side is blank. • This is a pocket travel geographic map, divided into quadrants and originally mounted on a backing canvas to allow folding it easily without tearing the paper. The external case is made of rigid cardboard covered with hand-marbled paper with a basin-like decoration (dominant tones blue, azure and red veins). In the center is affixed the original typographic label (cartouches). Intaglio engraving on a copper plate, printed in black and white on paper and subsequently hand-watercolored along the boundary lines.
