European school (XX) - Luz de Verano

Title: Summer Light ㅤ School: European Impressionist School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Mediterranean Impressionism ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ Condition: Good overall state of conservation, with slight signs in keeping with its age. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work belongs to the Mediterranean Impressionist tradition of the 20th century, characterized by the direct depiction of rural landscapes under intense light. The broad and material brushwork and the use of greenish greys, blues and earthy tones bring the painting close to post-impressionist languages and to Spanish outdoor painting. ㅤ Arid-looking rural landscape where several groups of prickly pears occupy the foreground, accompanied by stone walls and low vegetation. In the upper part, several tree masses silhouette against a bright sky. The execution is loose and direct, with thick brushstrokes that build the plants and the irregularities of the terrain through chromatic contrasts. ㅤ White frame with straight lines accompanied by a broad, beige, fabric-textured interspace, in an aesthetic characteristic of the mid-20th century. ㅤ Observations: The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, photographs of the damage will be required to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge for reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. In no case will PremiArt cover this surcharge. ㅤ The courier that must cross the Swiss border may experience delays much longer than normal, so, if possible, to expedite processing, we will provide the customs number that is delaying the shipment so the client can release it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, orders may be delayed more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience.
