European school (XX) - Natura morta - da Ambrosius Bosschaert il Vecchio

Still life, an author’s copy created in mixed digital technique, inspired by the famous floral composition by Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder (1573–1621), dated 1612. The work depicts an elaborate bouquet — striped tulip, roses, lily, iris and other flowers from different seasons — arranged in a metal vase on a stone shelf, with butterflies and insects among the flowers, in the typical Flemish/Dutch still-life style of the early seventeenth century. This reproduction, on canvas and with the aid of acrylic materials, faithfully reproduces the composition and palette of the original work.
