A peasant woman in a red skirt and white cap carries a bundle of wood along the track, with a distant church spire visible through the trees. Medium: oil on panel Dimensions: [41.5×32 cm] painting; [70×60cm] with frame The painting is presented in an ornate gilded frame with acanthus and floral decoration in 19th-century revival style.
