Ex voto - Wood - 1850-1900

Beautiful painting for Grazia Ricevuta, the painting shows exactly what happened (a vessel in a storm) and who is presumed to be the author of the miracle (Madonna and Child). Presumably the letters PA may be the initials of the graziato's name. Dimensions cm 33.5 x 27. The work is of Italian origin and obviously painted, on wood. Frame recently mounted. Ribbon on the back to cover the nails that hold the painting.

Estimate:£169.44
