Splendid sculpture in natural Aquamarine from Pakistan — This lot features a magnificent sculpture in natural Aquamarine, expertly hand-carved to reveal a floral and aquatic motif of great delicacy. The mineral, in crystal blue tones, has been transformed into a three-dimensional work of art, where the transparency and luster of aquamarine enhance the details of every leaf, petal and fish. Aquamarine, a variety of beryl, is renowned for its color that evokes the purity and serenity of the sea, ranging from pale blue-green to deep blue. This specimen, with its light, bright blue hue, beautifully reflects the light, highlighting the nuances and depths of the carving. Each curve and each engraving were executed with precision, creating a sense of movement and life within the stone. The choice of aquamarine for such a detailed sculpture is not accidental. Its hardness (7.5–8 on the Mohs scale) makes it suitable for carving, while its transparency allows light to pass through, illuminating the shapes and contours. This piece is not just a mineral, but a testament to the artisanal skill that has managed to enhance the intrinsic beauty of the raw material. Originating from Pakistan, a region known for its exceptional mining, this sculpture stands out for its fineness. Any minor inclusions or color variations are part of its authentic natural formation, giving uniqueness and character to every specimen. A piece of such quality and craftsmanship represents a valuable addition to any collection of carved minerals or to lovers of stone art objects. A specimen of great visual and collectible impact, ideal for enriching a display case or as a distinctive decorative element in a refined setting, evoking a sense of calm and natural beauty.
