Exquisite Ring with a Colombian Emerald & Diamonds, from Our Workshop

At the center of this ring is a striking 5.50 ct emerald. The stone, cut in the classic emerald cut, displays a vibrant, rich green and is held in place by four side prongs. It is a stone from Colombia, a country that has been producing the world’s most famous emeralds for centuries. Its characteristic green—resulting from small traces of chromium and vanadium—and its fine inclusions, known as the “jardin,” confirm its origin. The ring’s clean design naturally lets the large colored gem take center stage. It is crafted from high-karat yellow gold, whose warm hue creates a charming contrast to the emerald’s intense green. The sturdy ring band tapers toward the shoulders, where it is set with a total of twelve small brilliant-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.12 ct combined. Their understated sparkle complements the emerald without competing for attention. Green has long been considered the colour of life, renewal, and hope. Over the centuries, similar meanings have also been attributed to the emerald.
