Extra Quality Amethyst Cathedrals - Giant Sectioned Geode...

This splendid pair of Amethysts was obtained by slicing a large geode with a truly unique shape, giving rise to an exclusive form with a sinuous and decorative appearance. This crystal is perfect for those who love the beauty and energy of gemstones, but also for geology enthusiasts. Its violet shade and intense color reflect its chemical composition, namely iron and magnesium silicate, which makes it a very valuable and highly decorative mineral. Amethysts form in volcanic-origin areas and have the peculiarity of crystallizing inside cavities within volcanic rocks, such as among basaltic lavas, for example.
