Extremely rare collectible crab

axioides robillardi (commonly known as Robillard's spider crab) is a species of decapod crustacean belonging to the Epialtidae family. It features an elongated carapace, typically triangular or piriform, covered with well-defined conical spines. It has long rostral spines and extremely long, slender ambulatorial legs, typical of spider crabs. Adult specimens can reach notable sizes, measuring over 170–180 mm. It is a marine species widespread throughout the western Indo-Pacific region, including areas such as the Philippines, Japan, and French Polynesia. It lives mainly in deep waters, at depths generally between 80 and 400 meters, preferring muddy or detrital seabeds. A very interesting lot, creatures of perfect architecture, rich in mysterious charm. Stand not included, made from recycled material and used for photographic purposes only. A necessary clarification. The final image of our photographic gallery is obtained with the help of AI software. The aim is purely aesthetic but also exemplary: it shows the real object inside an artificially generated scenography. The goal is to show how precious the objects in the auction are and how well they perform in different, highly refined environments. Thank you for your attention.
