Part One (1845): Ancient Geographical-Historical Part Two (1847): Geographical-Historical of the Middle Ages Part Three (1847): Geographical-Historical of the Modern era Universal Atlas (1845): Impressive cartographic volume accompanied by magnificent synoptic plates and copper-engraved geographical maps, folded and finely hand-colored at the time within continental boundaries (including detailed maps of ancient Italy, the Mediterranean, Spain and Africa). The typographic quality and the care of the engravings make this set a piece of great historical, documentary, and high-collectibility interest. Pages and plates complete, maps well folded and with vibrant original colors; some natural foxing spots and ink transfers due to the paper of the era are present, but they do not compromise consultability and the historical charm of the work.
