Fascinating goniatite freeform – millions of years of...

This impressive goniatitid freeform uniquely combines natural fossil structures with an artfully polished surface. At the center of the striking form is a highly recognizable, spirally coiled goniatit that, with its characteristic chamber structure and fine features, is particularly impressively highlighted by the work. The warm brown, ochre, and amber tones are intersected by dark mineral inclusions as well as light, contrasting markings, giving the fossil extraordinary depth and liveliness. Particularly appealing is the contrast between the highly polished front surface and the naturally preserved, textured rock area in the lower part. The unusual freeform makes the piece appear like a natural sculpture and makes it an exceptional eye-catcher for collectors and lovers of high-quality fossils. A characterful single piece that powerfully reveals the fascinating story of ancient life and at the same time stands as a decorative work of natural art.
