Fayetteville, Texas. $20 1929 Ty. 1. Fr. 1802-1. Farmers NB. Charter

Fayetteville, Texas. $20 1929 Ty. 1. Fr. 1802-1. Farmers NB. Charter #10954. PCGS Banknote Uncirculated 62 PPQ. Another conditional outlier from the same bank as the previous lot. This example nonetheless offers a superb degree of originality that is utterly impossible to overlook. From margins that offer succinct, but silent testament to the fact that most National Bank Notes were cut by hand to sharp embossing demonstrated by both the serial numbers and the bank title block, bidders are presented here with one of the "definitive" notes issued by the Farmers National Bank of Fayetteville (Charter# 10954) under the Series of 1929. Held together with the fact that Texas Nationals issued under the Series of 1929 are desirable items especially on non-urban banks and the fact that the overwhelming majority of notes are circulated per the National Bank Note Census make this a truly important opportunity for the collector seeking to build a collection that emulates the one composed by Jack Copeland. Noted for "Premium Paper Quality" by PCGS Banknote. Estimate: $800 - $1,200. Provenance: From the Jack Copeland Currency Collection, Part IV. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.

Estimate:£358.81
