Felipe Urrutia - XL - CALIPSO

Felipe Urrutia (1998) Felipe Urrutia’s artistic practice began at an early age, exploring Cubism and geometry, moving through various styles until consolidating a personal language that converges in neocubist abstraction with a strong emphasis on color study. With a fresh and carefree brushstroke, Urrutia builds abstract landscapes that seem to emerge from an intermediate territory between the atmospheric and the emotional. In them, forms and color are the protagonists; layers of paint merge and build a sense of atmosphere where color begins to speak for itself, while the shapes accompany that same mystery with logics that disappear and connect throughout his painting. Felipe believes painting to be a tool capable of condensing multiple realities at the same time, of capturing the visible and the invisible in a single gesture. He has exhibited in several countries, including the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy, consolidating a growing international career. His work is part of numerous private and public collections, and he continues to develop a practice that is distinguished by its authenticity, its sensitive perspective, and its commitment to exploring the human condition If you want to know more about his work: @felipe_urrutia98
